I believe in collaborating with clients to assist in areas you wish to develop, change, or heal in order to evolve. This may include building new skills, challenging old patterns, or grieving losses while becoming more connected to yourself at a deeper level in order to move into a more fulfilling life.
Understanding that it is our first relationships that most influence the way we respond and interact in our current relationships, I am grounded in the Psychodynamic approach of Attachment-based theory. Healing the wounds of the past, building awareness of our triggers, and choosing different responses can go a long way towards bringing peace and fulfillment into our lives.
Depending upon your needs and goals during consultation, I utilize a variety of skills and approaches as a therapist. I have education and experience in these various therapy modalities:
